we are
not fancy or formal people, so
the typical wedding - fancy dresses in sacred
spaces, rubber chicken at a reception hall - would not suit us
very well.
instead, we chose to throw
a party with our friends, family and loved ones at our favorite local tiki
bar, full of rum and comfort foods and
ukulele music. it's maybe a little eccentric, maybe even a little kitschy,
but it's the best reflection of our sensibilities that we
could find.
and so we
invite you to join us for a fun time. wear whatever you'd like, although
casual and especially tropical-themed attire is definitely encouraged. children are also
most definitely welcome, although given the
hour and the setting, we would understand
if parents felt it was better to leave them at
